The event will run daily from 08:00 AM to 00:00 AM CET, with set replays available outside of these hours.

We will strive to create a timetable that is accessible to participants from various time zones around the world. In past editions, we ensured that listeners could enjoy the aired sets during their local daytime or evening hours. Rest assured, we’ll keep this in mind when planning the schedule!

Not immediately. Your mix will first go through a basic quality check and selection process. Due to limited time slots each day, all submitted sets are reviewed after registration, and we carefully decide which ones will be aired. To increase your chances of being part of the Global Hard Battle, be sure to put full focus on your mixing skills and track selection!

As soon as we have decided you will receive an e-mail. In this e-mail, we tell you that your set is chosen or not. Shortly after your set is chosen you will receive the timetable flyers, country flyers, and artist flyers with information such as when you may post it on your social media accounts. You are all free to share your social media accounts on time before the event takes place. Note: Don’t forget to tag us in your post!

No, you can only register once and with one mix per year. Not happy with the mix that you have sent in? Create a new mix, fill in the form and submit again. The set you have send in before will be deleted.

No. Unfortunately, we will not accept requests to register after the deadline date.

Unfortunately not. At this moment, we don’t have enough in-house capacity to create such a technical solution/application. However we will create flyers and artwork per day and per artist for promotional purposes.

There are 2 checks built-in.

1. 320 kbps is being verified.

2. The duration should be a minimal of 29 Minutes and maximum of 31 minutes.

There is a carrot on the upload progress bar which you can drop-down to see where your mix does not comply with.

Hell yes! A shout-out can be sent after you filled in the required information and joined the Global Hard Battle. Please reply to the confirmation e-mail with a shout-out. Please make sure there is no background noise. Otherwise, we have to decline it.

TIP: Record your shout-out on your phone. A simple example could be: Hi! I’m DJ X from <country> and you are listening to the Global Hard Battle 2021 on Real Hardstyle. Have fun with my mix!
